Monumental graves are earth graves, which can accommodate two and in some cases three burials. The depth is determined with the first interment. Families are able to place a full monument on the grave if they wish. All monuments must be erected by a registered stonemason and must have a cemetery issued permit to do so. The allowed heights of monuments vary between sections.
